Starting something a little different! I recently published an awesome little questionnaire that my beautiful clients fill out after everything is said and done and now you get to hear from their own mouths what they thought of the experience. This is great for you and for me because it allows me to see the impact I’m making and opens the door for a conversation if I screw something up. 🙂
I never know where to start with telling my side of things. I love every single one of my clients. I don’t know how to explain it. Maybe it’s because I’m a people person anyway, but I feel a genuine connection to every person I work with. I love what I do. I love that I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to shape how women see themselves and change lives. It’s great making money doing something you’re passionate about. Here’s the thing, though. This career is more than just work for me. I am INVESTED in you. I want to love on you and be a part of developing your self-esteem where it lacks. I want to be an ear when you’re having a bad day. When I give you my phone number, I do it because I want you to use it. I want you to add me on Facebook and Instagram. I want to be a part of your life. So, when we sit down together and have dessert or whatever to do our consult, I go into things EXPECTING to make a friend. I mean, if we don’t click, that’s ok. But I want to be the person in your corner, yelling, “GO! YOU WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL BADASS! GO!”
There are certain clients that dive head first into the process that occurs during a session and D was one of those fantastic beasts. Easy to coach (because I swear to you, not ONE person comes in and just knows what to do – and if they say they did, they’re lying), transitioned from badass to sweet easily and just knocked it out of the ballpark. Enough of my gushing and whatnot, though. You’re not here for me to babble…you’re here to see the epicness that happens in my studio.

“I always wanted to do a boudoir shoot but was far too nervous because I didn’t think I was in good enough shape or pretty enough. Also, I was afraid of doing something so intimate with someone I barely knew! But when I stumbled upon your stuff and looking at all the pics you had done and how beautiful the women looked, I felt like I could trust you.
The day of, you were incredibly patient and talked me through everything that would be happening and Dani was a true artist with my hair and make up! That was such a great start to the whole shoot, making me feel beautiful enough and giving me the confidence to be photographed. Shooting with you was an absolute dream, you took your time to make sure I was comfortable with anything we were doing and made me laugh whenever you saw I was getting self conscious or nervous. You set the bar incredibly high as a photographer for anyone else to have to match.
I felt so much confidence in myself and I realized that I didn’t need to have a ‘perfect’ body to be beautiful and was able to see what it is that my boyfriend sees in me and that is such an amazing feeling to have, especially when I have always struggled with feeling beautiful or good enough. There are no words to express how grateful I am and how glad I am that I got to do such an amazing shoot with you!”
