This girl. A complete delight who has saved my life more than she knows. I won’t get into details, but let me tell you, it’s because of her that I was able to get a medication that’s made me functional. She really struggled with the idea of boudoir. She knew I had the skill and the expertise, but didn’t think it would work for HER. The courage it took for her to get in front of my camera (not because she didn’t trust me) was astronomical and I’m so proud of her for taking the plunge.
It doesn’t matter how much variety I show or how many different bodies I photograph, almost every client doesn’t think that the process will work for them. There’s this awful conditioning our society has done that’s convinced us that we won’t be able to pull this off. But let me tell you a secret. Of the over 300 women I’ve photographed, not ONE has been disappointed with their images. Every single client has been pleasantly surprised to find that this process works for them, too. They weren’t the one who was gonna “break my camera” (ask around and you’ll learn that I will, indeed, yell at you for saying dumb shit like this).

How did you feel before your session?
Not pretty enough. Not skinny enough, and just completely negative towards myself.
How did you feel AFTER your session? Did anything change about how you see yourself?
EMPOWERED ! I felt beautiful, confident and born again!
If you were recommending this experience to your best friend, what would you say? How would you convince them to have their own experience?
To do the darn thing! Everyone should partake in this experience at least once in their life. It’s the perfect stepping stone for working on loving yourself 💙
What was your favorite part of your session?
Everything! But if I had to pick one it was the hair and makeup and socializing beforehand. Talking and having a moment with Manda to process what’s about to happen and the beauty of it, really helped calm my nerves.
